Ukay Ukay Project
January 6, 2011

The ministry held its first used goods fair or "ukay-ukay" for 2011. Proceeds from this activity go to the general fund. Items for sale are taken from donations in kind, with permission from the donors. The sale was open to all RYMI clients and our surrounding community. So, we keep our prices low.

Pick-A-Name, Bless-A-Child Christmas Gift Drive

Launching at Word for the World Christian Fellowship. Pick a name of a child or request names from the Reach Youth office and buy a Christmas gift suitable to the child's age and gender. Drop the labelled/tagged gifts in the dropbox at the lobby or at the WWCF or Reach Youth office. These gifts will be pre-sorted and distributed during the children's Christmas party on December 11.It would be great if we could receive all the gifts on or before December 7.

Coins from You, A Meal for a Child Cocobank Fund Drive

Participants fill out a form and a cocobank is issued to them. Fill the bank with coins, bills and return to the church (love offering basket) or to duly identified Reach Youth staff or call 562-5750, when filled or after a reasonable time.

Christmas Bag Project

We are preparing 400 bags of groceries for our adult clients and their families. Groceries may include rice, coffee, sugar, canned goods, juice, milk, foodstuff, toiletries, slippers. Donations in kind accepted. Even up to last week December. Bags are distributed when contents are complete.
