EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM
Program History
The Ministry believes that education is essential to give children the chance to have a better future. Initially, through the kindness of some volunteers and individuals, some children were able to receive help for their studies. In 1998, the educational support program was formally launched. The ministry sought the help of individuals, corporations, schools and organizations to sponsor the schooling of poor children. Various amounts and types of support are given according to agreements made during the interview with the scholars and their parents.
Program Clients
Indigent children in elementary, high school and college who attend value formation classes. They should maintain a general average of 80. Their parents should not be engaged in vices, and at least one other member of the family attends church, Bible study or value formation.

- Sponsorships – the ministry looks for an individual, group or organization to sponsor a child through school.
- Referrals – the ministry refers/ endorses children to schools or organizations who may have scholarship programs available for our clients
- Project GABAY – the staff or volunteers provide tutoring services for children who need help with their lessons, assignments, or exam preparations.
- Library – the ministry provides children access to encyclopaedias, reference books in various subjects and disciplines at various levels of study. There are also reading and hobby books available for their use.
- Internet – the ministry provides internet research service for children who need it.
How You May Help in the Educational Support Program
- You may help by sponsoring a child through school. It costs 8,000 pesos a year to support one child through elementary school. It costs 10,000 pesos a year to support one child through high school. If you are interested, please contact us.
