MEDICAL & DENTAL PROGRAM

Program History

The program started with free clinics held at the first ministry office in Pasong Tirad cor. Montojo Streets in 1990.  People from the adjacent poor community came to the office for consultations, treatment and medicines.  The free clinics were manned by doctor friends of the ministry.  The ministry was later able to partner with various organizations and churches to hold medical and dental missions in its various service areas.


Program Clients

Indigent children or adults who need medical or dental consultation, treatment, procedures or medicines or other necessary services for their good health.


Services Provided
  1. Medical & Dental Missions – the ministry partners with churches or organizations to hold a medical mission in its service areas.
  2. Sponsorships – the ministry seeks sponsorships for children who need surgery, special treatments or equipment, prosthesis, eyeglasses…
  3. Operation TULI – a free circumcision clinic held during the summer in partnership with other churches or organizations.
  4. Referrals – some clients are referred to doctors, or institutions that can help meet their need in terms of finances, consultation, treatment or medicines.
How You May Help the Medical & Dental Program
  1. Share your time and expertise for a medical/ dental mission or client referral.
  2. Donating medicines for fever and pains, cough and colds, antibiotics, antihistamines, scabicides, deworming, local anesthetics, vitamins, wound dressings and disinfectants.
  3. Sponsoring a client’s hospitalization, surgical procedures, eyeglasses, crutches and wheelchairs, medicines, dentures and braces, and prosthesis, and small medical equipment.
